Milestones
1969
New Ramesh Industries, a partnership
firm, was established by Mr.
Bhikhabhai J. Ambalia.He started with
One Lathe Machine and Drill Machine
for Cylinder head and block.
1973
Second new unit called Nasit
Industries was set up to manufacture
Diesel Engine Spare Head.
1977
A well-equipped foundry unit was set
up in the name of Ramesh casting co.
(Rented) which was manufacturing
cylinder head & block and cylinder
piston.
1982
Expanded the Industry. Purchased area
of 2950 Sq Mts.
1984
New Ramesh Industries, a foundry unit
wholly owned, was set up at GIDC. 400
sq. mt. land was bought in 1982 to
manufacture Gear & gear cover and
machine tools casting.
1984-1992
Development of machining facility
occurred and then became supplier of
fully machined component
1992
The future was established – another
new unit was set up at GIDC, with the
brand name ‘Mahadev Manufacturers’
– A Foundry Unit
1999
The beginning of Electric Motor casting
& its component manufacturing
2003
Rented Total 7000 sq. ft. area at Aji
GIDC Rajkot to increase casting
Production & Expanded Machining
Facility.
2007
The plant with the construction area of
225000 sq. ft. was started at Kothariya
with complete in house facility of
casting production & machining
facility.
2008-10
Revolutionary Expansion of Foundry
shop (Induction, Sand Mixer, Sand
Reclamation etc.) & Machined Shop
(VTLs)

Installation of 2 windmills of 0.8 MW

Updated our Machining facilities.

Established Feed Chem Inc. a
manufacturer of refractory coatings,
No-Bake Binders and subsidiary
products for the foundry industry.

BS OHSAS 18001,ISO 14001 and ISO
9001 Accreditation awarded
2018
Established Mahadev Solar Park of
capacity 2 MW
2019
Started our complete Assembly unit
for Electric Motors in collaboration
with Crompton Greaves.
2020-Onwards
A refreshed brand identity, a new
website and an industry-changing
machine-shop advancement .
2020 marks a truly exciting time here
at Mahadev Ferro Cast.
